Placement Testing:
COCC uses ACT's ASSET placement test to assist in correct course placement for new students and to determine the Ability to Benefit for federal financial aid.

Finding your placement test scores on your COCC Online Student Services account:  Log in to your online account, go to Student Services, Student Records, Academic Transcript/Placement Test Scores
List of courses/programs with enforced placement based on scores:
     MTH 105, MTH 243 
     WR 121 or 121T
     Dental Assisting Certificate
     Medical Assisting Certificate
     Massage Therapy Certificate/AAS
